Such a comfortable bra but so frustrating having them arrive with the insert padding creased already, has happened to two bras I've bought from hot milk

It took me about 5 different hot milk bra’s & 4 from other places to find this one! My boobs had grown so much it was hard to know where to start. I was a 36DD before pregnancy & now I’m around 36/38 FF. They’re also not the same size by about 2 cup sizes so finding something comfortable & supportive for both boobs was really hard. I was so sensitive whilst my milk was coming in I didn’t want to wear anything at all, but this was the bra I wore when I did need to go out & have enjoyed wearing it even more as I’ve become less sore. The full cups are great, supportive under band without being too tight. The cups are well fitted & the material is thick enough to be supportive. There’s loads of bras in this type of style but only the hot milk one I’ve found to be well fitting, comfy & supportive too. Gives a reasonable shape for essentially a crop top. I do think this might be a bit too hot in summer though. The thickness & fit of the under band would get sweaty I think.

So comfy and so frustrating at the same time. So many reviews complain about the padding and with good reason.
I intentionally buy bras with a little padding to cover up visible nipples. This bra comes with removable padding. 🤦♀️ every time I feed that removable padding flips and squishes out of shape which I then have to fiddle with after I finish feeding. It’s the same as when you buy swimmers with removable padding and it goes through the wash and comes out with the padding all over the place and you have to spend ages sorting it out… it’s like that… but multiple times a day… while wrestling a mini and trying to sort the rest of clothing. It takes me longer to sort out the padding than it does for the rest of the process.
I will not buy another one. I will either have to remove the padding (like everyone else) or I’ll have to stitch it in place.
Hotmilk Lingerie2 weeks agoHi Lauren, removeable cups are so widely used bras and swimwear as removable pad allows multi-cup size for fluctuating breasts. Fixed full-shaped padding means the bra must be a dedicated cup size (ie 12D) versus the flexibility of the My Necessity over 3-5 cups sizes. It also has the option for removal for those who don't like padding and extra bulk x

This is by far my favourite nursing bra with the pads removed. It is soft and comfortable.
Pads are poor quality and came with dents in them so I removed them straight away.
Straps could be improved for when greater comfort.

Love this bra for the early breastfeeding days and it is super comfortable. I note the sizing of the white and black is very different. I purchased white and black. The white was the perfect fit so I took both tags off - but when I came to wear the black it was much smaller and tighter . As I had already taken the tags off I couldn’t return which is an expensive mistake!
