Privacy policy
What personal information do we collect?
You may give us information about yourself, such as your name, address, email address, telephone numbers, and financial and credit card information, when, for example, you create an account online and/or make a purchase from us. If you do not give this information, we may not be able to provide goods or services to you.
When you visit our site we may collect information, such as the address of your Internet service provider, your IP address, your email address, the name of the web page directing you, and your clicks and activity on our site.
How do we use personal information?
We may use your personal information to process your transactions, to administer your account, for our own internal purposes (such as risk management, staff training and billing), to help us to develop our site to be more available and user-friendly to our customers, and for any other use associated with such purposes or which you may authorise.
In addition, we may use the information to promote and market our products and services, or the products and services of others.
You always have the choice not to receive marketing information. For instructions on opting out, please see the section entitled, "Email, text & phone communications" below.
Will we disclose the information to others?
Your personal information is accessible by Hotmilk Support Team, Web Support at Hotmilk and the Hotmilk Marketing department.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We do not sell or share your information and we do not store credit card details as we use Hosted Payment Services: Payment Express and PayPal.
We may also disclose your personal information under such disclosure as required by law.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
