What personal information do we collect?
You may give us information about yourself, such as your name, address, email address, telephone numbers, and financial and credit card information, when, for example, you create an account online and/or make a purchase from us. If you do not give this information, we may not be able to provide goods or services to you.
When you visit our site we may collect information, such as the address of your Internet service provider, your IP address, your email address, the name of the web page directing you, and your clicks and activity on our site.
How do we use personal information?
We may use your personal information to process your transactions, to administer your account, for our own internal purposes (such as risk management, staff training and billing), to help us to develop our site to be more available and user-friendly to our customers, and for any other use associated with such purposes or which you may authorise.
In addition, we may use the information to promote and market our products and services, or the products and services of others.
You always have the choice not to receive marketing information. For instructions on opting out, please see the section entitled, "Email, text & phone communications" below.
Will we disclose the information to others?
Your personal information is accessible by Hotmilk Support Team, Web Support at Hotmilk and the Hotmilk Marketing department.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We do not sell or share your information and we do not store credit card details as we use Hosted Payment Services: Payment Express and PayPal.
We may also disclose your personal information under such disclosure as required by law.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

We take security seriously and have taken steps to ensure your personal information is secure. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
However, we accept no responsibility for any loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal information which you submit to us within these systems.
Email, text & phone communications
We will not use your personal information to promote and market our products and services or the products and services of others, by email (except as part of an email which facilitates, completes or confirms a transaction with you) unless we have your express, inferred or deemed consent to do so. These emails will always include an "unsubscribe facility". Once you have unsubscribed from our email communications, we will remove you from the corresponding marketing list as soon as reasonably practicable.
Hotmilk may send you marketing messages via email, SMS or other channels to keep you updated on what we’re up to and to help you see and find relevant products. You will only receive these types of messages if you have opted in.
You have the option to stop marketing messages from Hotmilk at any time by adjusting your account settings, unsubscribing or getting in touch with our customer service team.
To keep you up to date and help you find relevant products Hotmilk also engages in online advertising. Like many companies, we target branded ads and banners to you when you are on other websites and apps. To do this we utilise a variety of networks and technologies such as web beacons, pixels, ad tags, cookies, and mobile identifiers, as well as specific services offered by some sites and social networks, such as Facebook’s Custom Audience service.
The types of advertisements you see will be based on the information you provide to us while interacting with our site (e.g. search history or pages visited) as well as ads you have engaged with previously.
